We help deploy Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars (VDVRs) across the greater Houston area, allowing you to register voters at your next event. From June 2018-June 2019, more than 30,000 new citizens became registered voters through the volunteer VDVRs coordinated by the League of Women Voters of Houston.
Registering voters and empowering them with unbiased knowledge matters; our members share a common goal in wanting to increase voter participation in the Houston area. While around 75% of total voting-age citizens in Texas are registered to vote, our state is low in actual voter engagement. The more community members we register, the more opportunities we have to give them the information they need to get to the polls and cast their ballot.
