
Houston Women’s Equality Day Ceremony

You are cordially invited to Celebrate 100 Years of the Right to Vote with The Heritage Society!
Council Member Sallie Alcorn will be presenting a Proclamation deeming August 26th as Houston Women’s Equality Day to honor the Houston Suffragists that fought for our Right to Vote!
We encourage you to wear Suffrage White with the Suffrage Sash and stand with us at City Hall Plaza by the Reflection Pond during this short, celebratory ceremony on August 26th at 5:30 pm. Ceremony will start promptly at 5:45 pm.
