Annie Johnson Benifield, President of the League of Women Voters of Houston, will share exciting news about the League. An important election is rapidly approaching and the members’ involvement is absolutely necessary to continue the League’s mission of empowering voters and defending democracy. League leadership will provide a brief update on the upcoming year and important happenings since the annual meeting in May. Board members will discuss the major goals (objectives) and activities that are underway in their respective areas.
