LWV-Houston volunteer deputy voter registrars fanned out over the city — 40 locations in all — and registered eligible voters from sunup to sundown on National Voter Registration Day – September 28, 2021! Special thanks to our many partners throughout Houston, as well as KPRC2 / Click2Houston and Telemundo Houston for media coverage and Mayor Sylvester Turner for joining our volunteers at UHD. It was a great day for empowering voters and defending democracy!
