LWV HA holds monthly forums from September through April. Forums deal with timely and controversial issues: a lecture by a well-known speaker or a panel discussion is followed by Q&A. Meetings are open to the public.

Dr. Jacob has extensive experience on coastal issues, and his presentation will focus on: sea level rise and climate change, the pros and cons of the Ike Dyke, the loss of coastal wetlands and the potential impact of more hurricanes.
